With summer heating up around here, I thought I would share some tips and advice about a summertime favorite, the kalanchoe plant, that I came across recently.

Kalanchoes, which are part of the Crassula family (think jade plant) are a very easy plant to grow and maintain. I share some basic instructions on caring for them here.

I also wanted to share some links to a few of the more unusual varieties – ones that are not typically found at your local florist.

    I just purchased my kalantchoe plant a month ago and never watered it until yesterday i have two leaves that have turned yellow please tell why and what do i do?

  • A month is too long for a kalanchoe to go between waterings. That’s why you are getting the yellowing leaves.
