Chrysanthemums,(Chrysanthemum morifolium) with flowers in the bud stage, prefer bright light near a sunny window.

Plants with open flowers will do well in a broad range of lighting conditions. Soil should be moderately moist. Water thoroughly when soil surface is dry to the touch.

Chrysanthemums prefer moderate temperatures, 60-70F (18-21C)during the daytime. Avoid excessively hot or cold areas.

For the longest flowering period, locate the plant in a cool area where temperatures are near 50 to 60 degrees F at night.
