For those of you who are entertaining this holiday season, while also keeping an eye on your budget, here’s a video I ran across showing you how to make a fragrant Christmas centerpiece that includes assorted evergreens, accented with a pillar candle.

This short video walks you through the steps it takes to put together this beautiful Christmas centerpiece, even if it’s your first attempt at making one.

If you’re new to floral design, this video will answer many of the questions you might have about designing a Christmas centerpiece.

I think it’s a video you will really love, especially if you are a true DIYer. Take a look and see if you feel the same way as we do!

Holiday Greens

Pretty easy to do, don’t you think? I’m willing to bet you would like to try your hand at making one, too!

If that’s the case, all of the holiday greens and supplies you’ll need can be purchased from your local florist, garden center, or craft store. You could also do a little foraging for the evergreens, too. Whatever works best for you.

Don’t Be Afraid To Experiment

Try incorporating other greens besides the typical evergreens like balsam, spruce, and pine.

For more interest, try adding English ivy, boxwood, eucalyptus, or holly. Dried grasses and botanicals like hydrangeas can also be quite effective.

You can even try swapping out the container you’re using for a wreath frame to design Christmas candle centerpieces that are super-easy to make.

The point is, that there is no right or wrong when designing a Christmas centerpiece using multiple types of greens combined with fresh and dried holiday accents.

Just get started and you’ll see what I mean.

Thanks For Sticking Around This Long

My name is Greg Johnson, owner of Greenfield Flower Shop and the person responsible for this blog. I went ahead and built this site in order to share lots of info-packed floral videos with others like yourself. And, I also wanted to do it in one place.

Well, perhaps it’s the main reason, but it isn’t my only reason for doing this.

Before I continue, I’ve got an admission I should really make. In truth, the main reason this site exists is a selfish one.

You see, I really enjoy sharing tutorial videos (like the “How to Make a Christmas Centerpiece with Fresh Flowers” presentation you just finished up with).

With that said, I saw a lot of opportunity in creating this site.

I love sharing great content, and I also enjoy earning sponsorship revenues and affiliate commissions. Hopefully, you don’t see anything wrong with that.

I just wanted to disclose the fact that yes, I do make money from this site. However… any possible monetary benefit is incidental, and I’m not here to sell you anything.

If my sponsors happen to entice you with their offers, that’d be great! If you’re simply not interested, all’s still well. It’s just really great to have you here.

Sharing cool floral design tutorials with good people like you is just plain fun for me!

And that’s what this site is all about. It’s built for those who love flowers. If you enjoy flowers, then please join me again.

I’m gonna continue sharing more instructive videos about flowers, plants, and other DIY floral design tutorials… and that’s just for starters!
