Where To Learn Floral Design

Where To Learn Floral Design

learn floral design

If you want to learn floral design, you are part of a growing number of people out there who do as well.

Whether you’re contemplating a career change, or maybe just looking to earn a little extra money on the side, getting an accredited floral design certification may be the perfect option.

Despite a declining number of retail flower shops today, there are still plenty of new and creative opportunities in the floral industry and today’s marketplace.

More information about the opportunities that exist can be found in this article.

But where do you go to get started, and how do you go about finding the right floral design curriculum that fits your needs?

The answer will vary depending on your level of commitment. Some people just want to take a few classes to learn floral design for personal enrichment, while others may wish to open their own floral business.

But for the most part, all the resources and information you need can be easily found. From private floral design schools, both online and offline, to community and technical colleges, you’ll discover many different options for you to choose from with a quick online search.

It’s actually part of the reason this site exists…to share the knowledge and skills of some of the floral industry’s best floral designers and teachers.

With that said, allow me to introduce myself. I happen to be the owner of this website, Greg Johnson, and sharing informative floral design information is honestly one of the biggest reasons why I created this resource.

There is a “but” however…

To be perfectly honest, I’ve got something to come clean about. The creation of this site started off as a “lazy man’s way” to keep my staff up to date.

You see, I’m always watching floral design tutorials, and a private site where I could share my favorites with my staff was what the original plan was.

But I’m also a shameless opportunist.

As much as I love sharing great content, and I also saw an opportunity to earn sponsorship revenues and commissions… so I opened up this site to the public.

Hopefully, you see the wisdom of my decision.

Wedding Flower Design School

As you’ve probably gathered, I’m not one to pull punches. Still… it’s not my intention to sell you anything.

If my sponsors happen to entice you with their offers, that’d be great! But if you’re not interested, that’s fine. My feelings won’t be hurt. I just appreciate your readership. 🙂

So that’s why FlowersFloralFlorist exists. It’s, for all intents and purposes, a site for those who care about the art and beauty of floral design.

Sound good? Great! It’d be great to have you over again sometime. 😉

So please visit again ASAP! I’ll simply continue sharing tutorials onfloral design, wedding flowers, and flowers in general… and that’s only the beginning!
