How to Make a Lighted Wedding Centerpiece That Looks Amazing
This short video walks you through how to create a spectacular lighted wedding centerpiece in just a few steps, even if you’ve never tried to put one together before.
If you’re a newbie, this short video will show you how easy it is to create a dramatic lighted wedding centerpiece like this one, using a tall cylinder vase, some submersible LED lights, and a few dendrobium orchid stems.
It’s a video I think you are going to truly like, especially if you love a centerpiece idea that’s versatile, quick, and easy-to-do. Take a look and see if you feel the same.
Pretty interesting, wouldn’t you say? You can see the dramatic effect that lighting can have on even the simplest type of flower arrangement.
Want to give this a try?
If you’re planning on doing lighted centerpieces like this, the basic supplies you’ll need, like the crystal mesh ribbon, submersible LED lights, and the Deco Beads can be found on our Amazon page. They are the same products that we use in our shop.
If it’s possible to rent your event glass, that’s what I would recommend. Not everyone rents larger vases like these because of the damage risk. You might wind up having to buy the vases you need.
If so, check out VaseMarket.com. We’ve purchased from them several times in the past, and have found them to be a reliable vendor.
Pricing should be pretty similar on each of these sites. Just choose one that sells the quantity that’s the closest to the number of stems you need.
Otherwise, order them from your local florist. You might pay a little more, but you typically won’t have as much waste.
When we work with bear grass, we order it painted in the color we want. Unless we’re just doing an arrangement or two, we avoid spray painting as much as possible.
When you order bear grass, you’ll have to ask about getting it painted. It will cost more, but trust me, it’s worth it! 🙂
Hi, I’m Greg Johnson, and I happen to be the individual behind this website. I have shared lots of informative videos for you right here on FlowersFloralFlorist.com, many of which are wedding flower related. Really. That’s why I’m here with you. 🙂
With that having been said, it began with a different purpose…
Okay, to be perfectly honest, an admission is in order. Truth be told, I really built this resource for me.
You see, I’m always watching floral arranging tutorials (like the lighted wedding centerpiece presentation you just viewed) because I always pick up a tip or two I can use. And a cool site on which I could share my favorite videos with others is really what I was after.
I also believe that there is no shortage of opportunities online, which is another motivating factor in my decision to create this site. I’m just being honest.
I enjoy earning a bit of sponsorship revenues on the side, as I share awesome floral arranging tutorial videos with you. Hopefully, you’re all right with that.
As I’m sure you can see, I’m not one to pull punches. But let it be known… selling you stuff isn’t my goal here. If anything from any of my sponsors interests you, that’s fantastic! But if you’re not interested, then all is still well. Your readership is what I’m really after. 🙂
I just want you and I to be able to watch and share some cool wedding flower videos together! 😉
And that’s what this website is all about. It’s really a place for cool people to come together and watch videos about floral design. If that sounds like something you can appreciate, then I’d love to see you again. 😉
