The Wedding Color You’ll Be Seeing Everywhere Soon

The Wedding Color You’ll Be Seeing Everywhere Soon

This year, Pantone has named “Ultra Violet” (PANTONE 18-3838) as the color of the year for 2018, adding a complex color to the wedding color palette.

This quick video by Nittany Weddings highlights some of the ways you’ll see this gorgeous shade of purple will be integrated into weddings this year.

Pantone says the color is a “snapshot of what we see taking place in our culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.” According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute:

“We are living in a time that requires inventiveness and imagination. It is this kind of creative inspiration that is indigenous to PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet, a blue-based purple that takes our awareness to a higher level. From exploring new technologies and the greater galaxy, to artistic expression and spiritual reflection, intuitive Ultra Violet lights the way to what is yet to come”

It’s a video we think you’re going to find interesting, especially if you are thinking about purple as your wedding color. Watch and see if you agree.

Gorgeous color, don’t you think? Well, I thought so, anyway!

When Pantone selects it color of the year, it influences everything from fashion to flowers. You’ll be seeing this color debuting at wedding shows and bridal shops soon.

In case you’re not familiar with the Pantone Color Institute, you might want to check out their website and find out why they are the world’s most influential color authority.

If “Ultra Violet” is your wedding color of choice, you might be wondering what color flowers would complement them? If that’s the case, I’ve got some good news for you.

When it comes to flowers, this color is easy to work with. You can really have some fun with it.

That said, let me introduce myself. I’m Greg Johnson, the guy who created this blog, and I’ve gone ahead and curated some fantastic videos for you right here on FlowersFloralFlorist, many of which are focused on weddings and wedding flowers. There isn’t much more to say than that. 🙂

Alright, so here comes the big ol’ “but”…

Alright, before we do anything else, there’s something important to confess. To be perfectly honest, I really crafted this video library for me. I really enjoy watching wedding-related videos (like the Pantone 2018 wedding color video you just got finished viewing), and I honestly just wanted a place where I could re-watch and share my favorites under one roof.

Of course, I do see this as something of an opportunity as well. I’m just being honest.

I don’t see anything wrong with earning a little money from sponsorships and wedding-related product recommendations. I hope you don’t either.

The point is, this site does provide me with a small income. But please hear me loud and clear… any possible monetary benefit is incidental, and I’m not here to sell you anything. If my sponsors happen to entice you with their offers, that’s fantastic! If you’re just not interested, then no concerns. It’s just really great to have you here. 🙂

I’m just cool with watching and sharing weddingand wedding flower videos with like-minded people! 😉

And that’s what FlowersFloralFlorist is. It’s, for all intents and purposes, a place for people who care about flower arranging to get together and watch some informative videos. If you appreciate that, awesome! I hope to see you again. 😉

So please visit whenever you’d like! I’m gonna be sharing more helpful videos in the areas of DIY floral arranging, wedding flowers, flower and plant care… and that’s just the warm-up round.
