Special Event Centerpieces That Will Light Up The Room

Special Event Centerpieces That Will Light Up The Room

Mainly fueled by Pinterest, creating special event centerpieces is the one area that I see a lot of interest in when it comes to floral design.

If you want to get a glimpse of what it takes to design, deliver and install special event centerpieces, then you’ll want to check out this video presentation from Jay Schwanke at UBloom.

It takes you “behind the scenes” and shows you the process that professional florists follow to create gorgeous special event centerpieces like the one showcased in the video.

Whether you are a seasoned veteran or an inexperienced DIY floral designer, imagine how you can design eye-popping special event centerpieces like this one, following the process laid out in the video.

The video also contains several great tips you’ll want to know about, especially regarding delivery and set up at the event location.

It’s a video I think you’re going to truly get something out of, especially if you love to do event and party work. Check it out and see if you agree.

I really hope you like the video and came away with an appreciation for what professional florists do. Projects like this are not something that every DIYer wants to tackle, but if you do, I got some good news for you.

All the flowers used in this video, including the roses and mokara orchids, can easily be bought online.

You can buy them at sites like GlobalRose, FiftyFlowers and BloomsbytheBox. These three are the ones that I’ve personally experienced.

There are several other providers as well, like WholeBlossoms.com and BunchesDirect.com, but I can honestly say I have no personal experience with them.

If you only require a small number of high-quality flowers, I usually recommend sourcing them from a local florist.

If you want to substitute or add some silk flowers, you can find an outstanding selection online at NearlyNatural, or at many craft stores such as Hobby Lobby and Michaels, or by ordering them through your local florist.

One additional tip, if I may. If you are using silk flowers, I usually suggest sticking with fresh foliages whenever possible, as it will help keep your special event centerpieces looking more lifelike.

It’s even easy to find the supplies used, like the battery operated lights, the Oasis® 8 inch floral foam sphere, the rhinestone mesh ribbon, and the water pearls, and even the monarch butterflies

My name is Greg Johnson, the one who created FlowersFloralFlorist, and I put together this video blog to share great wedding flower tutorials vids with good peeps. Ain’t much more to it than that. πŸ™‚

Here comes the “but”…

Listen, first and foremost, I’ve gotta level with you. To be honest, my own selfish needs are the reason for this site having been created. See, I really enjoy videos on the subject of flowers (like the special event centerpieces video you just finished up with), and I honestly just wanted a place where I could check out all of my favorites at one place.

With that said, I see a lot of opportunity in creating this site. I just wanted to be 100 percent honest with you. πŸ™‚

I love sharing great content, and I also enjoy earning sponsorship revenues and affiliate commissions… hopefully, you don’t see anything wrong with that.

I’m a pretty straightforward person if you couldn’t tell. But that having been said… in no way is it my intention to sell you anything. If my sponsors happen to entice you with their offers, that’s perfect! If you’re simply not interested, it’s all good. You just being here is good enough for me. πŸ™‚

Income or no, I just wanna share my favorite floral design tutorials with good people like you! πŸ˜‰

And that explains the existence of FlowersFloralFlorist. It’s essentially a site focused on floral design and created for those who love working with flowers. It’d be great to see you here again if that sounds good. πŸ˜‰

So be sure to keep comin’ back! I’m gonna keep sharing more awesome videos about flowers, plants, and weddings… and the list goes on.

Please subscribe below if you’d like to be updated about new videos as they become available. Rest assured, I will only send notification emails, and not promotional ones. πŸ™‚
